If you are family member needing to notify your recruit or Marine of an emergency situation at any time
contact your local American Red Cross to have an official message sent to. In order to process the message
quickly, please provide the following information:

• Full name
• Rank
• Branch of service: Marines
• Social Security Account number or date of birth
• Military address
• If deployed, Information about the deployed unit and home base unit
